Responsibilities: • Prepare and thoroughly review individual and business tax returns to ensure accuracy. • Collect, evaluate, and organize client financial and tax-related documents. • Verify compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations. • Collaborate with clients to clarify and address any tax-related inquiries. • Provide support for additional tax-related tasks during peak periods. • Utilize Lacerte tax software to streamline tax preparation processes. • Maintain high attention to detail to avoid errors and ensure precision. • Efficiently manage workload to meet deadlines during the busy tax season. • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation. • Proficiency in handling individual and small business tax returns. • Familiarity with Lacerte tax software is preferred. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak tax season. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations. • Commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.
