Job Description Job Description Job Title: Sales Executive Job Description The Sales Executive will lead business-to-business growth initiatives, primarily targeting new clients in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) sector. The role involves expanding the company's footprint across the U.S. by engaging with government organizations and companies focused on weather-related technologies. The executive will identify and develop new business opportunities within government and B2B environments and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer needs. Responsibilities Lead initiatives to drive business-to-business growth, primarily targeting new clients in the U.S. Department of Defense sector. Expand the company's footprint across the U.S. by engaging with government organizations and companies focused on weather-related technologies. Identify and develop new business opportunities within government and B2B environments. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support customer needs. Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years of sales experience. Experience in sales management, technical sales, account management, and outside sales. Experience in meteorology, defense, or governmental sectors. Previous experience in the weather industry is mandatory. Ability and willingness to travel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the governmental and defense industry is a real asset. Customer service orientation. Work Environment The work environment is based in a brand new office in Gaithersburg with 30-40 employees. The typical expectation is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Travel expectations to clients, conferences, tradeshows, or HQ in Finland range from 30% to 50% annually, mainly to east coast locations. Employees are provided with necessary work equipment, including a work phone, laptop, and corporate credit card.
