Job Description:

This is an outstanding opportunity to join Dematic Corp., a global leader in automated technology solutions. As an Electro-Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will lead a team of professionals to maintain and optimize our world-class material handling equipment. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring flawless operations and delivering outstanding service to our clients. This role is based at our customer site in Mountville, PA.

There are two shifts available:

Shift 1: Wednesday - Friday and every other Saturday, 6 am - 6 pm
Shift 2: Wednesday - Friday and every other Saturday, 6 pm - 6 am

Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

          The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $36 to $53 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

          Tasks and Qualifications:

          What you will do in this role

          Using problem-solving and critical thinking, key tasks include the following:
          • Lead, coordinate, and advise all functions of your reporting staff.
          • Perform at a professional level to interpret and process more sophisticated, less clearly defined issues.
          • Identify and resolve complex problems, ensuring efficient resolution.
          • Define workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to achieve maximum efficiency.
          • Participate in the development of department budgets and business plans for functional areas.
          • Evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures within your area of responsibility and communicate these to the customer.
          • Identify resource needs and develop justifications.
          • Address and resolve complex problems with proven strategies.

            What we are looking for

            • Associate's degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
            • Demonstrate and apply broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed work group(s).
            • Demonstrate understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
            • Possess 5 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.
            • Proficient in Allen-Bradley or equivalent PLC control platforms.
            • Experience with DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet, or equivalent network communications platforms.
            • Proficiency in fixing electrical issues such as wiring, AC power, AC motors, electrical drawings/schematics, and control panels.
            • Experience with Servo Drives, PC controllers, DC power supplies, optical devices (e.g., encoders, photo eyes, etc.).
            • Knowledge of automated equipment, preferably automated material handling systems.
            • Mechanical experience.
            • Familiarity with Lean Principles (e.g., 4-Step Problem Solve, Kaizen, 5S).
            • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
            • Ability to evaluate and analyze system/equipment performance data, perform root cause analysis, and manage resolution of design-performance issues.
            • Capability to coordinate critical metrics and fault data using these methods.
            • Able to build reports and communication materials to supervise and report performance issues.
            • Demonstrate continuous improvement of maintenance and operations of material handling equipment to the customer.
