Job Description:
At ManTech, a CNO Python Software Engineer is pivotal in
providing innovative technologies and solutions supporting crucial
mission-driven cybersecurity projects for the U.S. intelligence
community. This role entails developing advanced Python
applications for Computer Network Operations (CNO) that enhance
national security measures. Working in our IT & Cybersecurity
department, engineers develop, implement, and maintain software
tools that penetrate or defend digital networks, ensuring alignment
with federal cybersecurity guidelines. Design and implement secure
Python applications for CNO tasks. Collaborate with cybersecurity
analysts to tailor Python tools for specific operational needs.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and mitigate potential threats in
software. Enhance existing Python codebase for optimal performance
and security compliance. Document software development processes
and produce detailed reports. Expertise in Python programming
Experience with cybersecurity and network protocols Proficiency in
software development tools and methodologies Ability to interpret
and utilize complex technical information Strong problem-solving
skills in high-pressure environments Certified Information Systems
Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Information Systems Auditor
(CISA) GIAC Python Coder (GPYC)
