Job Description:
ManTech seeks an Availability Manager dedicated to ensuring the
optimal performance and accessibility of our IT systems and
services. This pivotal role involves both strategic oversight and
hands-on management, aimed at maximizing system uptime and
improving the end-user experience. The ideal candidate will possess
a robust background in IT service management, specifically in
monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing software and network
infrastructures. By joining our team, you will contribute directly
to projects that support national security and governmental
functions, playing a key role in upholding ManTech's commitment to
delivering innovative, mission-critical technological solutions.
Develop and implement strategies for maximizing system availability
and performance. Monitor IT infrastructure to preemptively resolve
potential downtime issues. Coordinate with IT teams to ensure all
aspects of the service are compliant with organizational standards
and objectives. Prepare and present regular system performance
reports to key stakeholders. Manage and refine IT incident response
and disaster recovery plans. Lead continuous improvement
initiatives to enhance system functionalities and resilience.
Proficiency in ITSM tools and platforms Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills In-depth knowledge of network and system
administration Understanding of risk management methodologies ITIL
Certification preferred MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) or
equivalent
