will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and
functionality of software applications through testing and data
validation. Validates migrated data using SQL, reconciliation
scripts, and API checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and
alignment between legacy sources and the modernized Enrollment
System. Requirements: U.S Citizenship required. Must be able to
obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance This position is
remote but may require occasional onsite meetings in McLean, VA.
You can be based out of following states: AZ, DC, FL, GA, OH, ME,
MD, SC, TX, UT, VA, NC, OK, WV. Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing
with a focus on data validation and reconciliation. Proficiency
with Oracle RDS, SQL/PL-SQL, stored procedures, materialized views,
and ETL/ELT validation techniques. Experience with REST-assured,
SOAP UI, and JMeter for API/service validation. Understanding of
data profiling, lineage, and quality rules related to migration and
modernization. Experience with Jira or similar test/defect tracking
tools. Strong analytical skills, accuracy focus, and attention to
data integrity. Excellent communication skills and ability to
collaborate across technical teams Preferred Qualifications:
Experience validating migration efforts in enterprise or government
environments. Familiarity with performance, interface, or batch
data validation. Responsibilities Test Planning and Design: Develop
data validation test plans and test cases based on migration
requirements, target schemas, and interface specifications.
Identify validation requirements and create scenarios to confirm
end-to-end data accuracy between legacy and modern systems. Test
Execution: Execute validation using Oracle RDS, SQL/PL-SQL, stored
procedures, materialized views, and ETL/ELT outputs. Perform
reconciliation using data validation and reconciliation frameworks,
data quality profiling, and comparison scripts. Validate interfaces
and services using REST-assured, SOAP UI, and JMeter for
API/service checks. Document results and identify discrepancies,
defects, or data quality issues. Defect Management: Report and
track defects using Jira or equivalent tools, collaborating with
developers and data teams. Re-validate corrected data sets and
confirm proper resolution without introducing regression issues.
Collaboration: Work with developers, DBAs, and migration teams to
align on mappings, lineage, and validation checkpoints. Participate
in Agile ceremonies and provide visibility into data readiness and
test status. Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to
validation processes, ETL/ELT checkpoints, and reconciliation
coverage. Stay current with SQL optimization methods and ETL/ELT
quality techniques. Documentation: Maintain validation plans, SQL
queries, reconciliation logs, and data quality reports. Ensure
documentation supports traceability and audit readiness for
