Job Description:
Lockheed Martin, a leader in global security and aerospace, is
seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with security clearance.
This role involves contributing to projects that involve the
research, design, development, and maintenance of software systems
used in defense applications. The right candidate will help us
continue to deliver superior technology solutions that meet
stringent security demands and complex functional requirements, all
while upholding our commitments to ethical standards, inclusivity,
and teamwork. Develop, test, and maintain software systems that
meet defense and security specifications. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to determine system requirements and design
robust architecture. Participate in all phases of the software
lifecycle, including concept development, planning, implementation,
and support. Maintain documentation throughout the software
development process. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing
software systems, ensuring constant functionality and optimization.
Adhere to all cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with
security clearances. Proficiency in programming languages such as
C++, Java, Python, or similar. Strong understanding of software
development principles and systems engineering. Experience with
software configuration management tools. Ability to troubleshoot
complex software issues. Excellent communication and teamwork

certifications in software engineering, cybersecurity, or system
architecture (e.g., CompTIA Security, Certified Software
Development Professional, or similar) preferred.
