Job Description:

Work Schedule:-- M-F 6:00 AM-4:30 PM.-- (Early out on Fridays)--Small manufacturer of quality and great tasting snacks; Potato Chips, Cheese Puffs, Pretzels, and Popcorn distributing to retailers across the country. --Responsibilities:--Be involved with all aspects of the manufacturing, plant operations and processes.-- Manage and execute in accordance with company policies, programs, and standards concerning safety, quality, productivity, costs standards, plant processes, continuous improvement opportunities, and ensure production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules. --Responsible for productivity and efficiency of production.-- Lead 20+ team members to ensure production goals are met.-- Provide training to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities effectively.-- Manage all plant inventory, raw materials and finished goods.-- Manage and assist in the plant capital projects. --Actively promote adherence to the plant quality system, sanitation, GMP and HACCP standards to achieve a finished product within quality control specifications. --Assist with the supervision of sanitation operations as necessary to promote and maintain a clean and food safe environment.-- Reports to the company CEO.--Qualifications:--3+ years of leading a team in a food production/packaging plant.Experience working with Continuous Improvement methodologies.Knowledge of GMPs and food safety protocols.Working knowledge of fryers, extruders, and packaging equipment.--Salary $65K, bonus / incentive program to be negotiated, monthly pre-tax cash to purchase health insurance, 401(K), with a 4% company match, Holidays, and vacation.
