A locum tenens opportunity is available for a skilled Urologist at a dynamic hospital setting in DuBois, PA. This role involves managing a wide range of urology cases and procedures, providing essential services to a high-volume facility that serves as a hub for surrounding communities. The assignment offers 24-hour call shifts, presenting a unique chance to work on specific dates spread across a six-month contract.

• Schedule: Specific 24-hour call shifts as follows:
• June 29, 7:00 AM - June 30, 7:00 AM
• July 22, 7:00 AM - July 24, 7:00 AM
• September 16, 7:00 AM - September 18, 7:00 AM
• November 18, 7:00 AM - November 19, 7:00 AM
• December 2, 7:00 AM - December 3, 7:00 AM
• Patient Population: Adult
• Location: DuBois, PA
• Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

• Perform cystoscopy, stent placement for hematuria, kidney stone treatments, UTI management, and consultations.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, anesthesia, and emergency room teams.
• Engage in rounding duties in the inpatient setting during the morning.

• Board Certification in Urology - REQUIRED
• Active PA Medical License required
• DEA Certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required

• 24-hour call shifts starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 7:00 AM the following day on scheduled dates.

• Proficient in procedures such as cystoscopy, kidney stone extraction, holmium laser lithotripsy, and Foley Catheter placement.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner for inpatient care and GE Centricity for outpatient records.

Emergency privileges can be granted within 1-2 weeks if documentation is promptly submitted. Candidates must be prepared for variations in patient volume and have a minimum of 1 year of experience, with 2 years preferred.
