seeking a skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) with neonatal
intensive care experience for a travel nursing job in Upper
Marlboro, Maryland. This NICU/Pedi travel nurse role offers
hands-on neonatal nursing and pediatric care in a 13-bed inpatient
unit within the Capital Region. Ideal candidates have experience
with neonatal nursing, pediatric nursing, and are comfortable
working in a collaborative hospital environment. /n/nJob Details/n
/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,960 – $2,060/n - Location: Upper
Marlboro, MD 20774 (Washington D.C. area)/n - Contract Length: 13
weeks (NICU travel contract)/n - Start Date: May 6, 2026 (or
ASAP)/n - Shift: Rotating Days/Nights, 3x12-hour shifts
(07:00–19:30 / 19:00–07:30)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Employment

RN-NICU/Peds, 13-bed inpatient unit/n - Patient Age Groups:
Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics/n - Typical Daily Census: 6/n
/n/nRequired Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent
pediatric and NICU experience (neonatal nursing, pediatric
nursing)/n - Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at
time of submission/n - BLS and PALS certifications (AHA only)/n -
NRP certification (NRP or AAP only)/n - Experience with Epic
charting system preferred (electronic medical record experience)/n
- Comfortable floating within specialty, including occasional
coverage to Baltimore sister campus/n - Two professional references
from most recent employers (one supervisor/manager and one charge
RN)/n - Locals must reside at least 50 miles from the facility/n -
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)/n - CPI Certificate (Calm
Every Storm online version) may be required/n - First-time

/n - Provide compassionate, evidence-based neonatal and pediatric
care in a subacute NICU/Peds setting/n - Manage complex pediatric
and neonatal diagnoses including BPD, chronic lung disease, ROP,
poor oral feeding, NAS, metabolic disorders, and cardiac defects/n
- Perform specialized procedures: circumcisions, ROP exams, oxygen
therapy including high-flow, NG/G-tube management, IV therapy,
blood transfusions, thermoregulation, central line care/n - Support
breastfeeding and handle expressed breast milk with best
practices/n - Administer medications and blood products and perform
accurate neonatal dosage calculations/n - Provide patient and
family education, developmental care, and discharge planning
support/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including
Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Social Services,
and Pharmacy/n - Float within the hospital as needed and cover
every other weekend and holidays as scheduled/n /n/n This travel
