the Position Job Title Radiology Tech - Eves City/State: State
College, Pennsylvania Shift: Evening shift; every 3rd weekend, 8
Hour Nights, 20:00:00-04:00:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks Start
Date: 03/25/2026 Job Description: Prepare patients for
examinations, explain procedures and respond to patient questions.
Perform diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered by
physicians. Responsibilities: Perform patient care/technical duties
and procedures in an accurate and timely fashion. Greet each
patient in a pleasant manner. Review requests and evaluate order
for appropriate exam and diagnosis. Explain the procedure in terms
that the patient understands. Contact appropriate individuals for
proper scheduling/orders. Prepare and position patients for
examinations. Operate CR, Fluoro and DR rooms safely and
efficiently. Transfer images to PACS, scan documents and route as
necessary. Assist Radiologist and/or Fluoro Tech during
examinations. Move portable radiographic equipment for various
procedures. Administer IV and Oral contrast media as needed.
Document patient symptoms and procedure details in PACS. Maintain
room assignments and room cleanliness. Escort patients throughout
department and hospital. Perform clerical duties efficiently and
accurately. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an approved specialized training program in
Radiological Technology by the ARRT. Registered with the ARRT in
Radiology. Meets the American Heart Association's standards for
Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every
two years. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and
physiology. Knowledge of radiologic equipment and procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform simple
adjustments. Experience of one year preferred performing
radiological procedures. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS
