Job Description:

MedStar Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for per-visit assignments to provide compassionate care in our community-based clinics. This role is ideal for a dedicated healthcare professional who seeks the flexibility of a per-visit schedule while delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Assess the health status of patients during each visit based on symptoms and medical history Administer prescribed medications and perform routine procedures Record patient's medical information and vital signs Monitor and communicate patient’s progress to the healthcare team Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention Clinical skills with patient management Ability to administer medications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with healthcare technologies and electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active LPN license CPR certification
