UPMC Altoona Total Joint Orthopedic Opportunity UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics is recruiting a Total Joint Arthroplasty Orthopedic Surgeon to step into a fully established practice with high volume patient base. The practice cares for patients referred from 70 primary care physicians and the Hospital's emergency and trauma departments. Must have an MD or equivalent, be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license. Opportunity Details - Join an established busy joint practice with a wait list greater than 6 months. - Current orthopaedic surgeons include a trauma/fracture surgeon, a foot and ankle surgeon, a sports medicine surgeon, a hand and upper extremity surgeon, a total joints specialist and a podiatrist. - Additional providers include a non-surgical sports medicine physician and nine physician assistants. - Clinical Academic appointment - Trauma & Practice call will be 1:6 - Team physicians for local Division 1 University - In-office imaging and PACS/EMR system - Newly constructed 90,000 sq ft medical office complex What we Offer - Generous salary plus wRVU incentive bonus - $30,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance - Cash balance and savings plan retirement program - PTO & CME time and allowance - Occurrence-based malpractice insurance, professional dues - Relocation allowance up to $10,000 About UPMC Altoona and UPMC - UPMC Altoona is a recognized leader in providing high-quality, patient-centered health care services in west central Pennsylvania.
