Local Team Collaboration: We’re a welcoming, hospital-employed team of 14 physicians and 8 APPs, who work closely with other hospital staff and departments at Mount Nittany Medical Center to bring the best possible quality of care to our patients. Our clinical performance nurse assists you in the process of providing a high-quality patient care experience. Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine or family medicine trained physician Authorized to work for any employer in the United States Scheduling: Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation. Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (rounding) and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (admitting) Key Responsibilities: As a day clinician, your responsibility will encompass rounding on patients, discharging when appropriate, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds. Everyone on the team rotates through the admitting shift The hospital has an open ICU with intensivist support, no procedures or vent management required. Our team performs geographic rounding when possible Our hospitalist team is part of the rapid response and code team — we’re all certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. The intensivists will provide support. We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time and part-time.
