Job Title: Float Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months to 1 year in a behavioral health setting License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have: Strong clinical judgment, assessment, delegation, and leadership qualities Description: Float pool nurses should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Experience in a behavioral health setting is required, with at least 6 months to 1 year preferred. Float nurses are responsible for working across various inpatient units. Candidates will work with children, adolescents, and adult age groups. Strong clinical judgment is essential for this position. Assessment, delegation, and leadership skills are necessary. RNs may be required to take charge as needed during shifts. All travelers are expected to float to any age population when scheduling requires. Candidates must pass a drug screen to continue with the onboarding process. Please note: previous permanent employees must wait one full year before submitting for a travel position. Fingerprints must be done in Maryland prior to starting. Those applying for permanent positions will be removed from consideration for travel roles. RTO must be submitted with the initial profile.
