to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Martinsburg, West Virginia,

experience, at least 1 year of travel experience Description:
Drivers license required for submission. Tele nursing unit has 20
beds, all private rooms. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 for
telemetry patients. The average number of patients seen or admitted
varies significantly. Common diagnoses include telemetry, post
catheterization, and medical/surgical patients with telemetry
monitoring needs. Nurses are expected to have a basic understanding
of dysrhythmias and verify telemetry strip interpretations. Cardiac
monitoring includes both hardwired and portable telemetry
monitoring systems. Unit-based pharmacist support is available.
Respiratory therapy is present 24/7. Nurses can administer
nebulizers and breathing treatments. IV placement is part of the
job responsibilities. Nurses draw labs from central lines only when
ordered. The unit engages in self-scheduling for travelers. Every
other weekend and holiday shifts are required. Navy blue scrubs are
the uniform. Travelers may be asked to precept or take charge if
comfortable. Cancellation policy is two shifts per 13-week
assignment. Charting is done using an electronic health record
system. No on-call responsibilities are associated with this
position. Floating may occur to comparable or lower-level units.
Call-offs should be communicated minimally two hours prior to the
