Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is
available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide
specialized support within a K-12 educational setting in Silver
Spring, MD. This position offers a chance to make a meaningful
impact by helping students develop the skills necessary for
academic success and daily living activities. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess student needs related
to sensory processing, motor skills, and functional performance.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to
each students goals and educational requirements. Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and other educational staff to integrate
therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment. Monitor
student progress and adjust interventions to ensure effective
outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school
policies and regulatory standards. Preferred Qualifications: Valid
state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working in
school settings, particularly with K-12 students. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with
multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of educational laws,
regulations, and best practices related to school-based therapy.
Ability to develop creative interventions that support student
engagement and participation. Position Details: Location: Silver
Spring, Maryland Setting: K-12 Public School Duration: Contract
position for the current school year (CSY) Schedule: Full-time
during the academic year with standard school hours This role
offers the opportunity to contribute to student development in a
