Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A 1099-based
contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics within elementary and
middle school settings. This virtual, school-based role offers the
flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, requiring a minimum
commitment of 20 hours per week. The position is set for the second
semester, with possibilities for annual renewal. Key
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to
students across elementary and middle school levels. Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's
needs. Collaborate with educators and families to support student
progress and communication development. Maintain accurate records
and documentation in compliance with school policies. Participate
in virtual meetings and professional development opportunities as
needed. Qualifications: Valid certification as a Speech-Language
Pathologist with relevant licensure. Experience working with
pediatric populations in educational environments. Strong
understanding of speech and language development milestones for
children. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
efficiently. Excellent communication skills and comfort with
virtual service delivery platforms. Location:This role is fully
remote, allowing professionals based in or near Arlington, VA to
