06-02-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: Rotating
12-hour evening/night shifts; 10:45 AM - 11:15 PM and/or 2:45 PM -
3:15 AM (evenings with scheduled on-call as needed) Hours per Week:

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Triage every patient entering
the emergency care system and determine priorities of care Perform
comprehensive patient assessments and document in-depth nursing
history, including chief complaint and relevant health status
Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care based
on ongoing assessments Manage complications and emergencies
following Mount Nittany Medical Center policies and ENA standards
Ensure supplies and equipment are available and functioning for
emergency patient care Document patient responses to interventions
and maintain clear, timely nursing documentation Provide patient
and family education and discharge teaching to support safe
transitions Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to
coordinate care and improve patient outcomes Participate in
scheduled on-call assignments as needed Qualifications Current
Pennsylvania RN licensure American Heart Association BLS
(Healthcare Provider) - current American Heart Association ACLS -
current American Heart Association PALS - current Valid NIHSS
(National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Emergency Department nursing experience (ED experience preferred)
EPIC computer charting experience preferred Strong verbal, written,
and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work 12-hour
evening/night shifts and participate in on-call rotations Knowledge
& Skills Emergency Nursing best practices and ENA standards Patient
assessment and triage Care planning and implementation Accurate
nursing documentation and charting (EPIC experience preferred)
Clinical decision-making and management of critical/emergent
situations Effective communication with patients, families, and
interdisciplinary teams Discharge planning and patient education
