Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, seeks a Director of Therapy Operations to oversee therapy
services across our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals.
The successful candidate will ensure exceptional therapy service
delivery aligning with our high standards of patient care. This
pivotal role involves strategic planning, staff management, and
upholding the integration of evidence-based practices into
therapeutic programs. The ideal candidate will bring a robust
background in therapy management, an alignment with holistic and
patient-centered care methodologies, and a deep commitment to
enhancing patient outcomes. Oversee the operational management and
administrative functions of therapy departments across multiple
facilities. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance
therapy services and patient care outcomes. Ensure compliance with
federal, state, and local regulations, and professional standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy
services with overall patient care plans. Manage budgets, allocate
resources effectively, and optimize therapy service delivery. Lead,
mentor, and develop a team of therapy managers and staff. Evaluate
therapy program effectiveness and incorporate innovations and
research findings into practice. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
abilities Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
Ability to mentor and motivate teams Expertise in developing and
implementing strategic plans Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Current state license in physical or
occupational therapy, as required. Certification in healthcare
management (e.g., FACHE - Fellow of the American College of
Healthcare Executives) is preferred.
