We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Locum Physician specializing in Interventional Radiology to provide essential imaging and minimally invasive procedures at Windber, PA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting, supporting the ongoing excellence of our radiology department. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in performing advanced procedures such as biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms, helping patients receive timely and effective treatment. Required Skills: Valid Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board certification or eligible in Radiology, with subspecialty training or experience in Interventional Radiology preferred. Active medical license to practice in Pennsylvania. Proven experience in performing interventional procedures including biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms. Strong understanding of imaging modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience working in a hospital-based IR department. Familiarity with emerging radiologic technologies and minimally invasive techniques. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members. Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree with completion of radiology residency. Minimum of 2 years of experience providing interventional radiology services in a clinical setting. Demonstrated competence in handling a diverse case mix including ER, fluoroscopy, and outpatient procedures. Other Requirements: Availability to work days, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Ability to provide on-site coverage as needed, including 1-2 weeks per month. Commitment to safety, patient-centered care, and adherence to all relevant clinical guidelines. Willingness to comply with all travel, licensure, certification, and reimbursement procedures as applicable.
