Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated Rehab Nursing Tech to join our
team. This position is pivotal in providing top-notch patient care
in our inpatient rehabilitation settings. The Rehab Nursing Tech
will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patient
care plans, including therapy and medical interventions designed to
aid recovery and improve functional status. This role is suited for
a compassionate, attentive individual who is committed to the
recovery process of our patients, helping them achieve independence
and enhanced quality of life. Assist nursing staff with clinical
duties and patient care activities, including monitoring vital
signs, administering medications, and documenting patient
responses. Support patients with daily living activities, such as
eating, dressing, and grooming, particularly those who are disabled
or have limited mobility. Collaborate with physical therapists,
occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nurses to implement
and monitor rehabilitation plans. Maintain a clean, safe, and
organized patient environment. Educate and support patients and
their families regarding treatment modalities and ongoing care.
Proficient in patient care and safety techniques Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work
collaboratively in a healthcare team Familiarity with medical
terminology and healthcare protocols Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
preferred CPR Certification required
