Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Certified Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a surgical technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Chambersburg, PA. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 5x8. /n - Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures. /n - Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy. /n - Prepare patients for surgery as requested. /n - Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed. /n - Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques. /n - Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years of CST RN experience is required. /n /n - BLS, certification from the American Heart Association are required. /n /n - EPIC experience preferred. /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
