Schedule Day shift, 5 days a week, from 07:00 to 15:30. Weekends and holidays may be required based on unit needs. Job Description We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our pre-screen unit. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures while ensuring a sterile environment and supporting the surgical team in accordance with WellSpan guidelines. Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures. - Assist with the positioning of patients and the handling of surgical instruments. - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow during surgeries. - Transport patients and equipment to and from the surgical suite. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist. - Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) is mandatory. - BLS certification required. - Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
