Sound’s teams also cover the Critical Care Unit and Emergency Room. Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine or family medicine. Hospitalist experience preferred. Practice in the Heart of the Community Flexible Scheduling: Full-time position follows a 7on/7 off rotation. Swing position is 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM Nocturnist position is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Key Responsibilities: The swing and nocturnist shift physicians perform admissions, and will split the responsibility with an APP. Our hospitalist team plays a pivotal role in the rapid response team, and the intensivist team manages codes. All team members are certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. There are no procedural requirements. We hold weekly huddles and monthly team meetings, in addition to lunch-and-learn sessions, to stay current on the latest medical developments at the hospital and with Sound. We work in Meditech Expand, a web-based system with access to our internal informatics platform. We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts. Rewards and Benefits: Compensation: The base salary for full-time is $273,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and growth.
