Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse - Step Down IMCU/n/n Location/n Not specified /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), with weekend coverage required every other weekend. /n/nJob Description/n The Registered Nurse in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) will provide high-acuity patient care, focusing on a wide range of diagnoses including cardiac conditions and respiratory failure. Responsibilities include monitoring patients on telemetry and managing various drips and protocols. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide care in a 30-bed intermediate care unit. /n - Manage patients post-interventions such as angioplasty and electrophysiology procedures. /n - Administer respiratory treatments including CPAP and BiPAP. /n - Monitor and manage cardiac arrhythmias and titratable drips. /n - Participate in the management of patients with sepsis, DKA, and other critical conditions. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting. /n - Active ACLS and BLS certifications are required. /n - Experience with Epic electronic medical records is preferred. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
