Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified PCU RN in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, 17201! Pay
Information $2,218 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration:
13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2
Years License: Active RN License Required Certifications: ACLS and
BLS Required Must-Have: Candidates must pass an EKG exam on the
first try. Failing to do so may risk cancellation. Description:
Travelers will be scheduled for 3 shifts per week on nights.
Weekend and holiday rotation may be required based on unit needs.
Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess fit before
being presented to the manager for the final decision. A manager
interview will be part of the selection process. Travelers will be
expected to work during two of the three major holidays. No
requests for time off will be approved between Christmas and New
Year’s. Floating may be necessary as required by unit needs. The
unit provides care for a variety of patients, including those
post-interventional procedures and high-acuity patients with a
focus on cardiac care. Additional care may involve patients with
respiratory failure, congestive heart failure, sepsis, and other
complex medical needs. Candidates may care for COVID patients. The
facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Candidates should be
prepared to comply with all facility protocols and expectations.
All candidates must have experience with EPIC charting. Preferred
skills include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry,
managing invasive lines, and patient education regarding care
protocols. A strong commitment to patient-centered care is
essential. The unit consists of 30 beds with a focus on adult and
geriatric patients. Interdisciplinary support is available from
various services including physical therapy, respiratory services,
and pharmacy. Candidates should have experience managing multiple
patient diagnoses. Must adhere to all compliance requirements set
