  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of PA.
  • Graduate nurses must take the State Board Nursing Examination within 60 days of hire
  • NIHSS upon hire.
  • In addition to the above, the following are unit specific:
    • Acute Care Cardiology: Certs required (upon hire or within 6 mo) are Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmia & ACLS.
    • ICU: Certs required (upon hire or within 6mo) are ACLS, Basic Critical Care Nursing Course, & Basic Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course.
    • ED: Certs required (upon hire or within 6mo) are ACLS & PALS. Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course (upon hire or within 1yr).
    • OR: Certs required (upon hire or within 6 months) ACLS & Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmia Interpretation.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
      • Basic Life Support (BLS)
      • BCLS (upon hire or within 6 Months)
      • Registered Nurse (RN)
      • Act 33 with renewal
      • Act 34
      • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
