Then this might be the perfect opportunity for YOU!Requirements of the Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC):Registered Nurse (RN) with assessment skills in a long-term care settingMust have knowledge of state and federal regulationsAssociate's in Nursing Required, BSN preferred.Must have at least 1 year experience as an RNAC in a skilled nursing facility completing MDSProficient in PA CMIRegistered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC) must have Medicare billing knowledge and experience.Knowledge of PPS (PDPM)Experienced with Managed Care and Insurance ReviewsMust successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC):Conduct and coordinate the completion of the resident assessment in accordance with the requirements of this state and policies and goals of the Facility.Conduct and coordinate the completion of the RAI process in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the resident assessment in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA, and other payer programs.Develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the resident assessment.Participate in Facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.Monitor the Facilitys QI and QM reports to ensure that appropriate corrective action can be implemented when potential problem areas occur.Provide initial and ongoing education with the interdisciplinary team involved in the RAI process.A team centered culture that supports our values of S.H.A.R.E.
