Job Description:
Responsibilities / Tasks Responsibilities: Prepare for and
actively participate in contract negotiations with customers and
key subcontractors. Establish and maintain a Project-specific
Change Management Plan aligned with customer contracts; monitor and
manage changes throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and
execute Change and Claim strategies for both inbound (suppliers)
and outbound (customers) activities. Collaborate with the Project
Director/Project Manager to develop and implement policies and
procedures for contract management and administration. Set up and
maintain an active Contract Management system, including the
preparation and collection of evidence to ensure GEA is fully
prepared for potential mediation, arbitration, or court
proceedings. Act as the liaison with the Legal Department to align
on contract issues and maintain full transparency regarding
contract status. Monitor the project schedule by tracking actual
progress against contractual milestones, identifying risks, and
recommending mitigation strategies. Support the Project Director in
negotiating contract modifications, including pricing, delivery
schedules, and payment terms with customers. Participate in
internal and external project review meetings, providing updates on
contract changes and claim issues related to customers and
suppliers. Coordinate and lead all claim-related activities within
the project, ensuring consistent reporting and alignment with Legal
Department guidance. Support the Procurement team during
negotiations with key subcontractors, focusing on claim prevention
and mitigation. Actively contribute to and participate in claim
meetings and negotiations. Work closely with the Project Director
and Contract Manager to ensure cohesive project execution.
Coordinate legal, fiscal, and insurance-related matters relevant to
the project. Contribute to the preparation of final project
reports, including detailed analysis of lessons learned, providing
feedback for continuous organizational improvement. Your Profile /
Qualifications Qualifications: Associate Degree in Business
Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Bachelor's
degree is a strong advantage. Minimum of 10 years of experience in
a similar role managing large, complex international projects.
Project Management and Procurement/Supply Chain Management
experience required. Proven track record in contract change
management, claims, and dispute resolution. Deep understanding of
challenges across all project phases: engineering, procurement,
fabrication, installation, and commissioning. Experience working
within complex, matrixed organizations. Exposure to manufacturing
and/or service operations environments. Skills: Strong ability to
foresee and proactively mitigate risks that could impact GEA's
profitability. Strategic mindset with the ability to understand the
bigger picture and long-term project impacts. Highly organized with
strong planning skills; able to stay ahead of deadlines and manage
multiple priorities simultaneously. Team-oriented with excellent
collaboration and communication skills. Structured, detail-focused,

this position at the start of employment is expected to be between
$120,000 - $160,000 per year. GEA Group has different base pay
ranges for different work locations within the United States and
base pay will vary based on experience. You may be eligible for
