Job Description - Stewarding Manager - Washington Hilton (HOT0BLN6)Job DescriptionJob Number:HOT0BLN6Work LocationsWashington Hilton, 1919 Connecticut Ave, N.W., Washington, DC 20009Washington Hilton is seeking a dynamic Stewarding Manager to join their team, supporting 120,000 square feet of meeting space and three food & beverage outlets. Located in the heart of Washington, DC, this iconic hotel hosts exceptional events and guests.The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of stewarding experience in a similar role, preferably in high-volume operations. Hospitality management experience, strong leadership skills, excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability are essential. You will be the #2 in the department, supervising 55-60 team members.Shift Pattern: 8-10 hour shifts, primarily on the PM, with flexibility for any shifts required by the hotel, including weekends and holidays.Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually.Medical Insurance Coverage: Available for you and your family.The Benefits: Hilton supports the mental and physical wellbeing of its team members through programs such as:

    • Manage and supervise utility stewards and dishwashers to ensure proper cleaning and transportation of utensils and service ware.
    • Ensure cleanliness of the physical surroundings and compliance with health and safety standards.
    • Supervise staff, including temporary personnel, and ensure proper setup for banquet functions.
    • Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Culinary leadership, and Event Operations to meet event requirements and standards.
    • Maintain cleanliness and safety of back-of-house areas and manage inventory and equipment.
    • Ensure timely and quality service, adhering to all regulations and standards.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies, work schedules, and cost controls.
