The Work As a Facilities HVAC Technician, you will perform day-to-day operations and maintenance of a wide range of facility systems. You’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, modifying, rebuilding, and repairing HVAC and related mechanical systems within a commercial or industrial environment. All work must comply with building codes, safety regulations, and EPA 608 standards. Key Responsibilities Include: Cleaning, maintaining, and troubleshooting large-capacity HVAC systems Maintaining and servicing site utilities, air handlers, exhaust fans, cafeteria equipment, split-case pumps, hot water systems, and plumbing fixtures Operating and maintaining steam generators and piping systems Performing preventive and predictive maintenance using techniques such as: Pump alignment Infrared thermography Vibration analysis Ultrasound detection Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control system issues Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics Operating the computerized Building Management System (BMS) and responding to system alarms Recording, reviewing, and interpreting equipment/system data Working safely at heights using aerial lift platforms and ladders Using hand and power tools, torches, refrigeration gauges, and multimeters Utilizing proper PPE at all times in accordance with safety procedures Lifting up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Who We Are Lockheed Martin is a global aerospace and defense leader committed to solving complex challenges and protecting national interests. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Weekend coverage may be required. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $61,200 - $107,985. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
