innovation and security to the nation. The Work As a Facilities
HVAC Technician, you will perform day-to-day operations and
maintenance of a wide range of facility systems. You’ll be
responsible for installing, servicing, modifying, rebuilding, and
repairing HVAC and related mechanical systems within a commercial
or industrial environment. All work must comply with building
codes, safety regulations, and EPA 608 standards. Key
Responsibilities Include: Cleaning, maintaining, and
troubleshooting large-capacity HVAC systems Maintaining and
servicing site utilities, air handlers, exhaust fans, cafeteria
equipment, split-case pumps, hot water systems, and plumbing
fixtures Operating and maintaining steam generators and piping
systems Performing preventive and predictive maintenance using
techniques such as: Pump alignment Infrared thermography Vibration
analysis Ultrasound detection Troubleshooting electrical,
mechanical, and control system issues Reading and interpreting
blueprints and schematics Operating the computerized Building
Management System (BMS) and responding to system alarms Recording,
reviewing, and interpreting equipment/system data Working safely at
heights using aerial lift platforms and ladders Using hand and
power tools, torches, refrigeration gauges, and multimeters
Utilizing proper PPE at all times in accordance with safety
procedures Lifting up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable

diploma or equivalent 2 years of HVAC trade school or equivalent
certification Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience with HVAC
systems EPA 608 CFC Universal Certification (required) Ability to
obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance Valid driver’s
license Experience with electrical, mechanical, and control system
troubleshooting Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting
technical documentation Familiarity with Building Management
Systems and computerized alarm systems Skilled in the use of hand
and power tools, refrigeration gauges, torches, and multimeters
Comfortable working from ladders and aerial lift platforms Ability

Comprehensive Basic Qualifications 2 years HVAC trade school or
equivalent certification. High school degree or equivalency. Must
have at least 5 years’ experience with Heating, Ventilation and
Cooling (HVAC). Must have EPA 608 CFC Universal certification.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an Active DoD
government Secret level clearance Candidate must be able to use
hand and power tools including the proficient uses of torches,
refrigeration gauges and multimeter. Have and maintain a valid
diver license. Must be able to record, review and interpret
equipment & systems readings. Knowledge of Building Management
Systems and computerized alarm & control systems. Ability to work
from a variety of aerial lift platforms and ladders. Candidate must
be able to lift 30 pounds with or without reasonable

proficiency in (Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel). Excellent oral &

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Weekend coverage may be required. Security Clearance
Information This position requires a government security clearance,
you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual
base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts,
and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado,
Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont,
Washington or Washington DC is $61,200 - $107,985. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
