Systems Test Engineer to join our Air & Space Defense Systems
(ASDS) team. ASDS specializes in multi-domain integrated air and
missile defense, advanced sensors, space-based systems,
hypersonics, effectors and cyber solutions. In this role, you will
play a key part in the continuous development of an advanced,
cutting-edge software system by providing test engineering support,
guidance, and facilitating team communication. You will operate
within a SAFe Agile development environment, working closely with
and clearly communicating with engineers on the agile development

What You Will Do Execute Systems Engineering Tasks: You will
perform various tasks related to the systems engineering
discipline, including software testing, ensuring requirements
traceability into software functions, conducting system performance
analysis, and overseeing system integration and test activities to
confirm system requirements are met. Technical Interaction: You
will collaborate with the agile development team to address
technical considerations, manage risks, and resolve issues
associated with system capabilities. Adaptability and
Communication: You must be able to multi-task and adapt to rapidly
changing circumstances. Effective networking and communication at
all organizational levels are essential to support schedules and
meet delivery milestones. Qualifications You Must Have Typically
requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant
experience CompTIA Security Certification – Linux. Systems
engineering lifecycle experience, specifically in developing or
testing large software systems. Experience with agile software
development activities, including requirements specification,
integration testing, and verification activities throughout the
full lifecycle. Qualifications We Prefer Experience leading test
events, customer demos, test team coordination, modifying and
creating test procedures, ad hoc testing, documenting test results,
and reporting and writing defect reports. Ability to maintain
technical cost and schedule for systems test engineering and
software integration activities. Experience interacting with both
programmatic and technical presentations. Excellent communication
and organizational skills; able to articulate intent, frame
requirements and test activities, set priorities, develop practical
methods, and align resources to meet goals. Significant experience
working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps or test-driven development in an
Agile development environment. Experience in a technical role of a
large multi-disciplined engineering team. Experience with
cloud-based software architectures and systems. AWS cloud
experience - AWS cloud technology knowledge and implementation.
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) knowledge and experience as a System
Engineer. Experience using modeling resources and methodologies
like Cameo, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, etc. Experience using
Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) and evaluation

role Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work
primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance
employees, as they are essential to the development of our
products. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000
USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several
