About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking an Automation Engineer Senior to join us.
Duties and Responsibilities:The Automation Engineer focuses on
automating network operations to enhance efficiency, integrating
AI/ML recommendations. Their duties include:
- Automation Development: Developing and
maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline network
configuration, monitoring, and maintenance tasks. This involves
using tools like Ansible, Python, and APIs.
- Integration of Recommendations: Integrating AI/ML-based
recommendation systems into network management platforms to assist
operators with troubleshooting, ensuring operators receive the top
three error causes and fixes.
- Data Pipeline Automation: Automating data collection,
preprocessing, and feature engineering pipelines to support AI/ML
model training and inference, ensuring data flows efficiently into
models.
- Scalability and Reliability: Ensuring automation solutions are
robust, scalable, and can manage a large-scale network with over
5,000 devices, addressing the complexity of such environments. This
includes ensuring high availability.
- Collaboration with AI/ML Teams: Collaborating with AI/ML
engineers to deploy, monitor, and update machine learning models in
production environments, ensuring seamless integration. This
partnership is essential for operationalizing AI insights.
- Troubleshooting Automation Issues: Troubleshooting and
resolving issues related to automation tools, scripts, and
integrations, maintaining system reliability.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improving automation
processes to increase efficiency and reduce operational overhead,
aligning with the goal of network efficiencies.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
- BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2Required and Desired
Skills/Certifications:
- Systems analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Additional
Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background
investigation and a Public Trust clearance. Min Citizenship Status
Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen Physical Requirements: No Physical
requirement needed for this position.Location: Remote, US
