Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
position offers an exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) to support students from Kindergarten through
Grade 12 in a school setting. Various openings are available,
including potential Extended School Year (ESY) assignments,
providing flexibility and continuity for students requiring speech
and language services. Key Responsibilities: - Assess, diagnose,
and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
from K-12. - Develop and implement individualized education plans
(IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. - Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support
student progress. - Maintain detailed documentation and progress
reports in accordance with school policies. - Participate in team
meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student
success. Desired Skills and Experience: - Licensed or certified
Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in an educational
setting. - Proficiency working with children from Kindergarten
through Grade 12, including elementary levels. - Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with
students, families, and staff. - Ability to adapt therapy
techniques to meet diverse student needs and learning styles. -
Experience with Extended School Year programs is a plus. Location:
Mechanicsburg, PA This role provides an hourly compensation ranging
from $36.52 to $50.62, reflecting experience and qualifications.
