Job Description Job Description Overview As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, you'll perform various automotive services, including tire installation and maintenance, steering and suspension, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostic, drivability, and preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance services. What You’ll Be Doing: - Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded. - Test drives vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety. - Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid flushes and replacements, belt and hose replacements, battery testing and installation, and general automotive repairs. - Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles and accurately document any findings. - Maintain cleanliness and functionality of shop equipment, including servicing portable fluid drains according to shop protocols. - Perform additional duties as assigned to support shop operations and team success. What You'll Bring with You: - Valid PA state inspection license highly preferred, or willing to attain. - Solid understanding of automotive systems; experience with PC-based diagnostic tools and/or digital inspections are a plus. - 5 plus years’ experience in automotive maintenance or repair; must have own tools. - Valid driver’s license is strongly preferred. - Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. - Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods of time. - Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands. - Must be authorized to work in the United States.
