Salary: $110k-$140k (DOE) Requirements: 5 Years of Federal Public
Accounting Experience Position Overview We are seeking a
detail-oriented and experienced Federal Audit Manager to oversee
and manage audit engagements for federal clients. The ideal
candidate will possess a deep understanding of federal accounting
principles and audit practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory
standards while delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities Plan and execute audit engagements for federal
clients, ensuring adherence to federal regulations and standards.
Coordinate with client management to understand their operations
and identify areas of risk. Supervise and mentor audit staff,
providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to clients,
highlighting key issues and recommendations for improvement. Stay
updated on changes in federal accounting standards and regulations,
implementing necessary changes in audit processes. Collaborate with
various teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to audits and
client service. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in
federal accounting and auditing. Strong knowledge of federal
accounting standards and audit regulations. CPA certification is
preferred but not required. Ability to obtain and maintain a
security clearance is a plus. Benefits $120-130k base (range can
vary either direction depending on candidates experience) Bonus %
