Strong business model and strategic Job Details Job Details: We are
currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior
Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This
position requires a self-starter who has a strong understanding of
the commercial real estate industry and is adept at utilizing
advanced MS Excel features such as Pivot Tables, Lookups, and Data
Tables. The successful candidate will be responsible for the
preparation of portfolio, lease, and occupancy information, along
with other critical financial data. This role will involve the
management of journal entries, expenses, accounts payable, and the
development of capital expenditure and depreciation schedules. The
Senior Accountant will also be tasked with setting up jobs and
overseeing financial projects. Responsibilities: Prepare and
analyze portfolio, lease, and occupancy information, ensuring
accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and
regulations. Manage journal entries, expenses, and accounts
payable, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately
recorded and processed in a timely manner. Utilize advanced MS
Excel features to organize, analyze, and present financial data.
Develop and maintain capital expenditure and depreciation
schedules. Set up jobs and oversee financial projects, ensuring
they are completed on time and within budget. Work closely with
other members of the Accounting and Finance team to develop
strategies for financial growth and stability. Continually assess
and improve accounting processes and procedures to increase
efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of
experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the
commercial real estate industry. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel,
including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and Data Tables. Strong
understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proven experience in managing journal entries, expenses, and
accounts payable. Experience in developing capital expenditure and
depreciation schedules. Demonstrated ability to set up jobs and
manage financial projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving
skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple
